Step by step program to prepare you for the specific challenges of Mt Kilimanjaro. When you take your first steps on your trek you’ll be feeling strong, confident and fitter than you’ve ever been. 12 weeks in duration, delivered on the ‘Chase Mountains’ app.

The aim of this program is to give you the level of strength & endurance needed for Mt Kilimanjaro with minimal muscle soreness and fatigue.

This involves:

• Building a significant base of aerobic fitness to enhance your performance at altitude and make altitude more comfortable (oxygen management).

• Strengthening your legs, core and lower back for 6-7 hours hiking a day, and 12- 14 hours on the summit day.

• Getting the experience and time on the trail necessary for you to be adequately prepared for a trek at high altitude.

Sessions include strength, endurance, aerobic, recovery, hike, interval cardio, challenges and taper weeks.
